Design of the debut album Conscience, featured by the Slovak punck rock band Humanes. The concept of the design complements the thematic mission of the album. The lyrics of the individual compositions elaborate on the moral values and failures of a man and at the same time, they encourage him towards the reevaluation and realization of himself. The material of the entire case is made of reflective foil, functionally replacing the mirror, which acts as the medium of gravity. The reflection of one’s self should reflect our hitherto unseized “selves”. In particular, it is holding the mirror towards oneself that should make us think about ourselves and about our inappropriate behavior towards other people or the world around us.
The idea of the mirror is further enhanced by the design of the CD, a shape reminiscent of a Tibetan Melong.
